1,  Having a laugh twice a week could help reduce the risk of heart disease : trial finds

This headline suggests that laughter therapy can help reduce the risk of heart disease. Having a laugh means to have a good time, so it doesn’t refer to laughing twice a week. This study is talking about the act of laughing, but we often use it to just mean having a good time. And we cam use it as another meaning. It’s to make a joking. For example, “I’m gonna tell you something amazing. You could learn a new language in just three months.” “No, you’re having a laugh!” That means that I don’t believe you. It’s a little joke.

2, Laughter can heal a broken heart- literally: cardiac health study

‘Literally’ means the real, actual meaning of the world. Broken heart is not usually used literary. It’s more common to use it metaphorically to refer when somebody is sad often at the end of a relationship. But we sometimes see how literally can be used for emphasis and it’s often used in a surprising situation.

3, First-of-its-kind study finds laughter is indeed good medicine, especially for the heart

Kind means type. If something is the first of kind, there is nothing like it before. For example, if you think about the first smartphone, this research is the first of its kind. According to the headline, this research is the first of its kind. Because it’s looking at laughter therapy with heart patients, which has not been looked at before.
